Finally Naga Chaitanya’s “Auto Nagar Surya” is back! The movie has been shelved long back due to financial issues. The film stares Naga Chaitanya, Samantha in lead roles. Deva Katta of “Prasthanam” fame directed this movie. Anup Rubens scored music for this action entertainer. RR movie makers finally cleared all the financial hurdles and completed the movie. • Time Entha Ra: A very good song to begin the album with. Vijay Prakash sang this song. The song has got good beat hidden within blended with cool lyrics by Anantha Sriram.
• Mancheli: Anup Rubens himself sang this song. Usually Anup Rubens picks the best one and did the same with Mancheli song too. This lovely romantic song is all set to steal hearts of music lovers. Rahman gave the lyrics
• Autonagar Brahmi: Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav, Anup Rubens, Sai charan, Amrutha Varshini and Pranathi together contributed for this funny song. A very funny one indeed. Credit goes to Anantha Sriram for his attractive lyrics. Should be more attractive on screen!
• Sura Sura: Chaitra, Anup Rubens, Santosh and Ramki sang this song. Anantha Sriram penned down the lyrics. Another very good song from the album. Influential Female tone combined with awesome music does the trick!
• Hyderabad Biryani:  Kandi Konda gave the lyrics for this massy song sung by Ritu Patak. First mass song of the album! The song has got good foot tapping tunes. A very good massy song indeed! Though the lyrics are that catchy, music attracts mass!
• Auto Nagar Surya theme: Contains a single word “Surya! Auto nagar Surya!”. A very good theme finally! Anup Rubens’s tone can be found in this theme too!
• Ayudham: Small bit song by Deva Katta, Siddarth and Raghu. Though it started on a lighter vein, the bit song ended well with racy music!

Here it ends. Though Deva Katta and RR movie makers kept us waiting since long, they didn’t disappoint us. Anup remains the hero of the day with a very good album. Filmytime wishes Naga Chaitanya all the very best for this 7^th film. Hope the number 7 sentiment works out for Naga Chaitanya too just as it did in the case of “simhadri” for NTR, “Khushi” for Pawan, “Okkadu” for Mahesh and recently “Yevadu” for Ramcharan!

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ’1 – Nenokkadine’ has released today across the world. Sukumar has directed this movie and 14 Reels Entertainment banner has produced this movie. Kriti Sanon is the heroine and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. ’1 -Nenokkadine’ has come in with great hype and high expectations, so let us see how the film is.

Story :

Gautham (Mahesh Babu) is a rockstar with a troubled childhood. He witnesses the gruesome murder of his parents, but he has clear memory of how they look or where they lived. He keeps experiencing strange events and believes that people are out to kill him. But those around him fail to notice any of the events.

A journalist named Sameera (Kriti Sanon) enters Gautham’s life and fall in love with him. Gautham sets out to seek answers to all the questions tormenting him and Sameera joins him in this endeavour.

The search takes them to Goa, Northern Ireland and London. He discovers that some powerful opponents are out to get him. He also learns some shocking truths about his parents and discovers the motive behind their murder.

What is that motive? Is Gautham really experiencing all those attacks? That forms the story of ’1 – Nenokkadine’.

Plus Points :

Mahesh Babu is simply outstanding as Gautham. He looks lean and fit and he has tried his best to shoulder a weak product. Once can see how hard Mahesh Babu worked for the movie. Gautham Krishna does not have much to do, but he has done what is required of him.

Kriti Sanon looks good, especially in the sequences shot in Goa. She has given an okay performance. The interval sequence has been shot well and Mahesh Babu’s performance in this sequence is excellent.

Some of the chase sequences have been shot well and Ratnavelu’s cinematography is a big asset for the movie.

Minus Points :

The screenplay of this movie is one big mess. The plot is needlessly complex and will be quite tough for most people to handle. A film like ‘Inception’ is perhaps easier to understand than this movie.

The production team hyped up the action sequences that were shot in London. But in the film, these scenes end up causing a big disappointment. They are way too small and basically what you see in the teasers is all that there is to those scenes.

The film’s runtime is a big minus and at least 30 minutes could have been shaved off from the film. There are way too many chase sequences in the film and they do not add to the thrill factor.

Entertainment quotient is near zero. There is no comedy to engage casual moviegoers and Mahesh Babu’s fans will be disappointed with the lack of heroism in the film. The climax is a big disappointment.

Technical Aspects :

Ratnavelu’s cinematography is a big asset for the movie. The visuals shot in London and Ireland look superb. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is quite mediocre for the film, but he has done a better job with the background score. He seems to have been inspired by John Powell’s work for the Bourne series.

Editing is not up to the mark. Dialogues are quite mediocre. Direction is a big minus for the film. The production unit spent almost two years on this movie and this is quite surprising, as there is nothing spectacular to justify the amount of time and money spent on the film.

Verdict :

For all the hype surrounding the movie, ’1 – Nenokkadine’ ends up as a disappointment. Except for Mahesh Babu’s outstanding performance in the film, there is nothing in the film to entice or entertain movie lovers. The needlessly complex plot and excessive run time make things worse. Because of Mahesh Babu’s stardom and the Sankranthi season, the film may pull in good revenues in week 1.

It’s turning out to be quite a busy year ahead for Nani. After playing a small cameo in D for Dopidi, in which he was seen in a song apart from giving the voice over, he has two films release in February within a span of one week. While Aaha Kalyanam is slated for release on February 7, his other film ‘Jenda Pai Kapiraju’ is going to hit the screens on February 14.

Directed by Samuthirakani, the film stars Nani in dual roles for the first time in his career. One of the characters, Maya Kannan, that Nani is playing has been in the spotlight ever since the first look was launched and the actor has reportedly worked hard on his body language for this role. The film also stars Amala Paul in a lead role whereas Ragini Dwivedi and Sarath Kumar will be seen in important roles.

Sundeep Kishan’s career is going great guns these days, thanks to the success of ‘Venkatadri Express’. The film has already crossed its 50 days run in theatres and it’s still being screened in a select few screens despite the presence of two big films. Now, the actor is gearing up to don a new avatar and this time he’s taking up the role of a producer.

The actor has revealed that he has produced a short film named ‘A Silent Melody’, which has been written and directed by Prashanth Varma. And it’s going to be released soon on YouTube. Details about what compelled Sundeep Kishan to back this short film aren’t clear yet; however, it’s likely to grab plenty of eyeballs in the industry. Over the past few months, several short filmmakers like Virinchi Varma and Pavan Sadineni have begun their careers as feature film directors. It remains to be seen if Prashanth Varma will join this list of filmmakers.

Currently, Sundeep Kishan is juggling between the sets of Ra Ra Krishnaiah and another untitled film in Kumar Nagendra’s direction, in which he’ll seen romancing three heroines including Raashi Khanna, Priya Banerjee and Sushma.

Arya, Nayanthara starrer Raja Rani will soon be dubbed in Telugu. The film was a huge hit in Tamil and it was co-produced by A R Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios. Directed by Atlee, the film also had Jai, Nazriya and Santhanam in lead roles.

Raja Rani revolves around a married couple and how they cope up with the loss in their personal lives. “The film is about a guy, who has lost his lover, a girl, who has also lost the guy she loved the most, and what happens when they two get married. Atlee has done a brilliant job in capturing the essence of marriage. The film did extremely well in Tamil and we are confident that it’ll do well in Telugu as well,” A R Murugadoss said.

The film’s audio is expected to be launched later this month whereas the film is being planned for release in the first week of February.

Jayasudha has plenty of reasons to be thrilled about the success of ‘Yevadu’. She played the role of Ram Charan’s mother in the film which released few days ago and her performance received good applause from all quarters.

Talking about her role, she said, “I’ve never done such a powerful role. Right from the time of the film’s shooting, I knew that it would be a big success and I’m glad that people have appreciated my performance. I’m expecting an award for my role.” Over the past few years, she has been playing such meaningful roles in several big films and she has proven every time that very few actresses can match her emotional performance.

On the other hand, Sai Kumar, who played the villain in the film, is also happy with the response for his performance and termed it as a new innings in his acting career. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film has Ram Charan, Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in lead roles. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal played cameos and Dil Raju produced it.

Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Aagadu. After Dookudu, the superstar is once again teaming up with Sreenu Vaitla for this mass entertainer. Gopichand, Ram Achanta and Anil Sunkara are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd banner.

The film’s regular shooting began yesterday in Sarathi Studios, Hyderabad and some key scenes were shot on the lead cast. Going by the buzz so far, it certainly looks like Sreenu Vaitla has infused a lot of comedy in the film and even the unit members and cast couldn’t stop raving about it. “Some days start with a laugh n they never stop..yes..m in Aagadu shoot n the scenes esp dialogues r hilarious.Hard time controlling laughter,” Vennela Kishore posted on Twitter.

The film will be shot in Sarathi Studios and Nanakramguda over the span of next few days and this schedule is likely to be wrapped up by February 6. Tamannaah is playing the lead role opposite Mahesh Babu. Thaman is scoring the music.

Story :
Satya (Allu Arjun) and Kajal (Deepthi) are lovers.Dheeru Bhai (Rahul Dev) has interest in Kajal.As Kajal hates violence they run away to get married.But Villians kill Kajal parents and attack Satya(Bunny).They kill Kajal and beat up Satya (Bunny) and fire the bus in which he is there.Allu Arjun survives but his faces gets seriously burnt.Then Jayasudha (Doctor) executes Plastic Surgery in which the vocals also change.Allu Arjun gets a New avatar with this.Now he sets on a Mission to kill the people responsible for Kajal’s death.One by one he takes revenge on all the 3 persons responsible for that.He takes the help of  Amy Jackson in doing so.But what happens next?? What is the role Shruthi Hassan?? What is Sai Kumar’s Role?All these twists  form the main part of the story.
Performances :
Allu Arjun and Kajal have a limited part to play.They were perfect for the role assigned.RamCharan gave a good performance especially in the action sequences and songs.Shruthi Hassan role is a pretty short one.He looks gorgeous in the 2  songs given to her.Jayasudha and Saikumar’s performances need a special mention.Dialogues  uttered by them came out excellently and gave the needed enthusiasm to the movie.Kota Srinivas rao’s role is fine with humour touch.Brahmanandam’s comedy track is not as expected.It could produce only few laughters at times.
Technical Performances :
Starting off with the music. DSP gave some good tunes to the movie.Freedom and Nee Jathaga songs are well received by the people.Back Ground Music by DSP is superb in the movie.In Fact, BGM gave life to most of the action sequences and important scenes in the movie.Cinematography is good.Story by Vakkantham Vamsi is quite different.Revenge drama in a different genre.Dialogues penned by Abburi ravi were good.Many dialogues got tremendous response.Stunts were perfect.All the murder sequences were well shot.Director Vamsi Paidipally was clear with his script and narrated it perfectly.

• BackGround Music
• Saikumar Scenes

Negatives :

• Comedy couldn’t produce laughters
• A dragged 2nd Half.
• Weak Climax.

Analysis :
Surely,Yevadu is a commercial movie blended with an interesting twist.But,with Brahmanandam and others involved in it some good comedy is expected from the movie.But the comedy is not upto the mark.Excluding some main twists yevadu is a routine revenge drama.For now,with ’1′ getting a negative talk , Yevadu might be received well especially by commercial /mass movie lovers.It might perform well at the Box-Office too. Talk from the Benefit and Premier shows is good.The makers have reduced the costs of premiers in Overseas .All these factors can help Yevadu to earn to profits with Pongal Holidays on..!!

Verdict : A time-pass movie for this Sankranthi.Don’t look for any Special or Wow factor in it.Go without any expectations.You will get surprised with the twists and enjoy the movie.Feast for fans with excellent action episodes.!!
So, this sankranthi ‘Yevadu’ can get  a one time watch like his previous movies Racha and Naayak..!!
