Ever since the title and it's logo of Prince mahesh babu's '1' was unveiled, people of AP have started reading it in two different ways. Since the makers only preferred numeric '1' instead of the word 'One', educated people are reading the title as 'One'. However, many villagers and educated people with Telugu medium background are reading the title as 'Okati-Nenokkadine'. Anyways, both 'One' and 'Okati' convey the same meaning.  New heroine Kriti Sanon is doing opposite to Mahesh in this action entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music of the movie. Sukumar wields the megaphone while Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta are producing the movie on 14 Reels Entertainment.

The audio of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Balupu was launched a little while ago in Hyderabad. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film also has Shruti Haasan and Anjali in lead roles. Potluri V Prasad is producing the film under PVP Cinemas banner and it’s his first direct Telugu film as a producer in Telugu. Several dignitaries from Telugu film industry including Dasari Narayana Rao, KL Narayana Rao, Bandla Ganesh, Nandini Reddy, Ajay, Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao, BVSN Prasad, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, Damodhar Prasad were some of the guests who were spotted at the event.

The highlight of the event was a dance performance by Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Anjali. Talking about the film, Ravi Teja said, “I should thank my friend PVP, who has been supporting me right from the beginning and I hope he continues to make great films in future. Balupu is my second film with Gopichand Malineni and he’s an extremely hardworking guy. Thaman has given fabulous music once again and I can’t believe he made me dance on stage today.” S S Thaman has scored the music and the film is going to hit the screens on June 21.

 


The audio launch of Allari Naresh, Sharmiela Mandre starrer Kevvu Keka has been postponed. Initially, the makers were planning to launch the audio on June 2; however, the makers have decided to postpone the event to a later point of time this month. Devi Prasad has directed the film and Boppana Chandrasekhar has produced it. Allari Naresh and Devi Prasad had earlier worked together on Blade Babji and this film is expected to be another hilarious entertainer. Talking about the film, the producer said, “The post-production is going on full swing. The audio will be launched soon through Aditya Music and we are planning to release the film in June itself.” Bheems and Chinni Charan have scored the music.

Superstar Mahesh Babu's brother in law Sudheer Babu's upcoming movie "Prema Katha Chitram" is heading for a release on June 7th. Sudheer Babu paired up with Nanditha in the film touted to be a romantic comedy thriller.

J Prabhakar Reddy wielded the megaphone for the movie and Maruthi of Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop fame is producing the film along with Sudharshan Reddy. Besides donning the direction cap, J Prabhakar Reddy is also cranking the camera. Maruthi has penned the story and dialogues for the film.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's new film tentatively titled "Attarintiki Daaredi" under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas is progressing at rapid pace. Shooting of the film is currently being shot at Radisson Hotel in Banjara Hills. Pawan Kalyan is participating in the shoot.

Mega Producer Allu Aravind's younger son Allu Sirish made his debut with the film ‘Gouravam’. The movie did not fare as expected and now he is coming up with a new film titled "Kotha Janta". The movie will be directed by Maruthi of Ee Rojullo and Bus Stop fame and Regina Cassandra is pairing up with Allu Sirish in this film.

The first look for the film is out and looks like Sirish is targeting youth audience in this film. This film is said to be a commercial artist unlike his film debut Gouravam.

Tollywood Macho Hero Gopichand's latest adventurous flick 'Sahasam' is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated projects of the year. The shooting schedules have been completed and the post-production works are progressing at a brisk pace. The movie is getting ready for its release in June and the audio album will be launched on June 2nd. The audio is being released by T Series.Sri has scored the music.

Tapsee is the heroine in this film. Gopichand plays the role of a security guard who discovers the fact that his ancestors are millionaires and goes on a mission to find the innumerous wealth. The actor is confident that Sahasam will give him the much-needed big break.

The shooting of Young Tiger NTR’s film in Harish Shankar’s direction, ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’, has shifted to Malaysia for a new schedule of shoot. Talkie part along with songs will be canned in the Malaysia schedule. The first song of the film on Young Tiger is being shot currently.

Lead actress for the film are not yet finalized and there is a buzz that the makers are planning to rope in Nayantara or Anushka for the movie. Boyapati Seenu has directed ‘Simha’, which became the highest grosser in 2010 and also fetched Nandi award to Balakrishna.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s new untitled film in Koratala Siva’s direction launched today with a formal pooja ceremony. The film's launch saw Megastar Chiranjeevi give the clap and VV Vinayak direct the first shot. Charan’s wife Upasana attended the opening function. Allu Arjun, Allu Aravind, DVV Danayya, KS Rama Rao, NV Prasad, M Shyamprasad Reddy, Dr. KL Narayana, Dil Raju, Vamsi Paidipalli and others attended the event and wished the team.

Kortala Siva had earlier made his debut as a director with Prabhas, Anushka and Richa starrer "Mirchi" which went on to become a massive blockbuster. Impressed with his direction, Ram Charan had given his green signal soon after Mirchi released.

Bandla Ganesh is going to produce the film under Parameswara arts banner and the buzz is that Catherine Tresa has been roped in to play the lead role opposite Ram Charan. The search for rest of the cast is underway.

Manchu Manoj’s upcoming film "Potugadu" entered the final leg of shoot. The movie has wrapped up all the talkie part and only 3 songs and some patch work shoot is left for it to be completed. After a brief gap, Manoj has joined the film’s sets earlier today and the entire shooting will be wrapped up in June. Most part of the film has already been wrapped up in a marathon schedule which began in April.

The movie is an action comedy thriller with a dose of punch dialogues written by Sreedhar. a skilled Scandalwood director Pawan is directing the movie. It is being said that the team of 'Potugadu' wants to release the film in July or August so as to avoid the Dussehra rush, during which many big budget films are being planned for release.
